This was one of the ones I stitched over the holidays and still have. I would like to buy a 'cubby' from the Pottery Barn and display these small pieces in it.

This is by Lizzie*Kate ~ Quick-It Be Naughty! I am thinking I would like to finish it as a pillow with a red and white striped fabric. I'll post pictures when I finish it!

Season of Rest

I just LOVE this little series by Little House Needleworks. I finished this over the holidays and as with the Season of Growth, I will finish this into a cute little pillow to display during the appropriate months of the year.

Happy New Year!

Sorry I'm a little late in wishing everyone a Happy New Year...but like they say, Better Late Than Never At All!

I did quite a bit of stitching over the holidays and since my last post in October...but as things go, no pictures were taken, I can't and won't re-stitch them just for a picture, so I will just move on!

Here is a quite, quick stitch that I have to share with you! It's by Sam Sarah Designs called America. I have the full-sized leaflet for sale...but please note the less than perfect conditions noted in the FOR SALE area.

Happy Heart Heart Day!

Here is my latest finish...Happy Heart Heart Day by the Trilogy. Fast quick stitch that I did on my lunch break at work. Would like to finish it into a small pillow or wall hanging. Stitched on 14 count Aida using DMC thread and adding some miscellaneous buttons I had laying around.

Doggie, Dogs and More Dogs!

We are pleased to announce that we adopted ELLIE from our local Humane Society and we are loving every minute of having her....here is her picture:



She is 5 months old...her breed is a Pointer. She is very energetic and requires at least 2 long walks a day and lots of playtime. We are so LUCKY to have her!

On the same 'dog' note...I finished all of those previously posted dog pieces....

Monthly Finish ~ Drawn Thread ~ JUNE

Hi All ~
Just a little behind in this Drawn Thread series I am doing. Finally finished JUNE and currently working on September. I'll have to 'catch up' with July and August. I started September because I liked the school house and since school just started here in Florida it just seemed appropriate!





Drawn Thread ~ Pocket Calendar Series ~ Aida ~ DMC supplemented with threads from kit.
(Please note these kits are being PIF'd within a group of stitchers from the 123Stitch MB.)

Here is what I had done so far in the series...I'm stitching them all on one large piece of fabric to be framed when finished!

Dog Days

Good Friday Morning ~

It seems that lately all I've been stitching is doggie things ~ maybe because we are in the process of looking to add to our family by the way of a dog. We have been visiting the Humane Society but haven't found anything yet...but we are still looking!
