I'm Back!

Hello! It's been awhile, but I'm back! Got off Facebook and that addicting behavior of always having to see what's going on when all I really needed was my stitching and reading to make me happy! I've realized that I still like sharing my cross stitch finishes and what better way then on my old blog page. So I am back! Can't wait to share my latest finishes and have a log of the pieces I've stitched. I'll be back soon with pictures and info. LHN ~ Hometown Holiday Series

Hot off the needle! LHN ~ Holiday Hometown Series ~ Sweet Shop! Stitched on dark green 14ct Aida using DMC floss. Many changes ~ the snow is stitched with B5200, the symbol # is 702 to stand out on the green fabric, handmade bow on the wreath, and French knots for the lazy daisy stitches on the cake in the window! I am going to finish this as a no sew cube and add to the 'village' each year! Merry Christmas!

Birthday Candles

Here is a quick stitch I did for a birthday greeting card. SamSarah Designs for the candles stitched on scraps of 14ct Aida using DMC thread!

Post-op

Hi! Just a quick blog to let you know that last Wednesday (11/12)I had total knee replacement surgery. I am home now doing good, doing my exercises and stitching up a storm when the pain medication allows. Take care! Be well!
