Who's Got The Button! This was a fun and quick one to stitch. Found this 'older' chart in a markdown bin at The Cross Stitch Cupboard in Ft. Lauderdale, FL while I was on vacation. I had never seen this style of presentation before so I bought it! What will I do with the stitched piece...I'm unsure at this point. But I do love the way it turned out.

Would love to hear some ideas of how to finish this...leave a comment!

Scrapbooking ~
Here is my latest finish for an on-going WIP. This is a scrapbook cover that fits over a 12"X12" album. Available from 123Stitch.com. I used the Cherrywood Designs chart NEEDLES for this, using DMC white.
I scrapbook my smaller pieces of cross stitch that are too small to frame or finish into something worthwhile that I could use around the house.
The charts I used for these pieces were: Prairie Schooler ~ 'S is for Spring', I got this chart using the wayback machine, The Drawn Thread ~ Spring Keeper, this was also found using the wayback machine,(http://web.archive.org/web/20030508011225/http://www.thedrawnthread.com/) and then finally Lizzie*Kate's ~ Hello Spring, found on her website (http://www.lizziekate.com/free.html). All stitched on Aida using DMC thread.
Thanks for letting me share these with you. May all your stitches be happy ones!

Good Afternoon ~
Here is my finish from the weekend ~ I think I found the PERFECT fabric for making a tuck pillow. What do you think? It couldn't get any better.
This was a 'freebie' chart from LHN, found on her website:http://www.littlehouseneedleworks.com/images/June_2011_Newsletter.pdf
I used Aida fabric and converted the Crescent Colours to DMC. Black Coffee 310, Bamboo ecru, Sassy Brass 780, Clay Pot 3722, Manor Red 816, Poblano Pepper 3347, Spinach 500 and La Tierra 840.

The First of Many to Come....
Here is my latest finish ~
Little House Needleworks ~ Summer Season of Growth ~ Aida ~ DMC
I would like to make this into a tuck pillow. As you can see I've already chosen a fabric.
Chart is already sold.

Here We Go!
I have contemplated having a blog for some time and have decided to take the plunge! I plan on using this blog to post my completed cross stitching pieces, whether just off the needle and or the completely finished piece. I will post pictures, list the chart used, fabric and thread as well. Hopefully all of this will 'push' me to finish my pieces a little faster and actually see them to completion. Wish me luck....! Here we go!
